Dr. Tyson Bennett is Superintendent of Schools at Sherman Independent School District. He has served that district in multiple capacities since 2006, including his current role since May 2022. He earned his doctorate in educational administration and supervision from the University of Southern Mississippi, and earned his master’s degree in teaching from Austin College, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. He was appointed to the TPS Board of Trustees in 2023.
