Public Officials Liability

TPS offers Public Officials Liability (POL) coverage for our Members. Public Officials Liability coverage protects the Member against financial loss due to the errors and omissions of elected/appointed officials of the entity.

Public Official Liability coverage includes:

• ERP with Options for 1, 2, & 3 Years
• Broad Definition of Covered Party
• Broad EPL Coverage (including Sexual Harassment & Hostile Work Environment)
• Consent to Settle Clause has Only a 50% Co-Insurance Requirement for Member
• Coverage for Personal Injury
• Defense Expenses Outside Limits of Liability
• Loss of Earnings Coverage
• Loss Includes Pre & Post-Judgement Interest
• Protection for Innocent Covered Parties
• Deductibles up to $50,000 (negotiable)
