TASBO (Texas Association of School Business Officials) Annual Engage Conference
February 23 @ 8:00 am – February 27 @ 5:00 pm
We will attend and exhibit at this conference, and we will also host an appreciation dinner in conjunction with the event. There may be valuable information and training opportunities for staff.
The TASBO 2026 Engage Conference features two keynotes, professional certification courses, learning sessions, an expo hall, and more. The conference is scheduled to take place from Monday through Friday and includes over 150 learning sessions. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are dedicated to courses only, with 95 certification course options available.
The TASBO Annual Conference brings together nearly 3,200 Texas school business and educational professionals for one of the state’s largest and most comprehensive networking events. TASBO offers networking, professional development, and leadership opportunities in school finance and operations. Attendees interact with peers who are experiencing similar issues and often need many of the exact solutions. Ninety-eight % of 2024 attendees indicated that they would recommend the conference to their colleagues.
A well-run school district will ensure that the maximum resources are placed in the classroom. The Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) continues a tradition of supporting K-12 schools and their business and operations professionals. An independent, not-for-profit professional association, TASBO is dedicated to being the trusted resource for school finance and operations in Texas.
Established in 1946, TASBO began as a forum for exchanging ideas and sharing information about school business operations in Texas. In the early years, TASBO was operated by volunteers throughout the state, but as the Association’s membership and services grew, a center of operations was founded in Austin in 1986.
TASBO is one of the state and province affiliates of the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO Intl.), which serves members from the United States, Canada, and more than 20 other nations.
