Juan Garcia began his career in the insurance claims industry, serving as both a Claims Manager and Branch Manager for workers’ compensation and liability claims for nearly 30 years. He also owned and operated Lone Star Claim Services for a decade, gaining extensive experience in risk management and claims administration. In 2023, Juan transitioned into education, assuming the role of Risk and Safety Manager for San Antonio ISD, a district serving nearly 50,000 students and overseeing over 100 facilities. He studied at East Texas A&M University and is currently one course away from earning his SCRM (School Risk Management) certification. Juan joined the TPS Board of Trustees in 2025.
