We would like to encourage TPS Fund Members to take advantage of the free funds currently being offered toward the TPS Safety Grant.
Here are just a few of the items that might be approved:
- AED’s (Automatic Defibrillators)
- SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus)
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) gloves, hardhats, safety glasses, etc.….
- Emergency Eyewash Stations
- Flammable Liquid Storage Cabinets
- First Aid Supplies
- Wet Floor Signs
- Lightning Suppression
- Body Armor (law enforcement)
- Two-way communication radios (law enforcement)
- Package Training Modules/Programs
This is not a complete list, but simply an example of which items would be considered.
Don’t miss your opportunity for free money as part of the newly created TPS Safety Grant Program. We have had a great response to this program so far, but all of us at Texas Political Subdivisions JSIF (TPS) would hate for you to miss this opportunity.
The goal of this program is to help make high-cost items more affordable.
This equals free money for the member. This program can fund, or partially fund, safety items that will assist in reducing or preventing injuries, property losses, workers’ compensation claims, and/or liability claims. The deadline to apply is rapidly approaching. Since May 1, 2022, falls on a Sunday we have extended the deadline to submit your application to the following business day. All applications must be received by the end of business on May 2, 2022. If you have any questions concerning your requests, do not hesitate to reach out to me or your individual loss control representative.
