Don’t miss out on the opportunity for FREE MONEY, which is available through our 2025 Safety Grant Program. As in years past, we have always been asked, “What items/equipment qualify for this program?” Below is just a sample of the items that have been approved in prior years based on the coverage carried by the member.
- AED’s (Automatic External Defibrillators).
- Stop the Bleed kits.
- SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus).
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, etc.….
- Emergency eyewash stations.
- Flammable liquid storage cabinets.
- CAT (catalytic converter) clamps.
- Security cameras for property.
- Backup cameras for fleet.
- Construction signs and cones.
- First Aid supplies.
- Wet floor signs.
- Hail guards for roof-mounted HVAC units.
- Lightning suppression.
- Body armor (law enforcement).
- Two-way communication radios (law enforcement).
- Body-worn cameras (law enforcement).
- Package training modules/programs.
This list is not all-encompassing, but I wanted to give the membership some examples of what might be considered. With the amount an individual member can be awarded increasing to $20,000 for 2025, the opportunities are boundless.

The overall goal of this program is to help make high-cost items more affordable. This equals FREE money for the member. This program can fund or partially fund safety items that will assist in reducing or preventing injuries, property losses, workers’ compensation claims, and/or liability claims. The deadline to apply is rapidly approaching. All applications must be received by the end of business on April 30, 2025.
